Linda Wolff lives in Los Angeles with her husband, and parents two grown children from afar as they pursue higher education. She keeps her fingers crossed that one day they will both move back or she will have to get a puppy. Linda writes the blog Carpool Goddess, proof that midlife, motherhood, and the empty nest aren’t so scary. Her pieces are as humorous as they are informative. Share in her adventures as she blazes the trail from the teen years to college to empty nest. Linda was recently published in the humor anthology “Not Your Mother’s Book On Being A Mom”, and is a frequent contributor on Huffington Post, Scary Mommy, Erma Bombecks Writers’ Workshop, and Felicity Huffman’s What The Flicka.
Linda’s essay in My Other Ex touches on the complexity of female relationships, and how our first female relationships – with our moms and sisters – often mirrors our current female friendships. She sheds light on how her friendships and her behavior towards making and keeping friends have changed as she’s grown older and wiser.
